Weirdly I discovered this too (without wall but legs up in air while lying on floor) just this year! I noticed it grounding me with an immediately centred perspective, scattered mind gone. Something scientific in it for sure..

I think if you leave your legs up the wall for about 10 minutes, your legs' blood gets entirely recirculated? (Source: distant yoga class) An internal rebalance/recalibration! Need to do it more thx for reminder.

I might try this. I have seventeen papers still to grade and I'm about to go for a walk just to stay awake, which is my usual strategy.

Oh and rather than nice houses - I find ones that featured in horror films: https://dovecote.com.au/headland/ used in The Invisible Man (2020). I'd stay there just so I can run around deactivating the sensor alarms and make an escape over the back wall.

Liz did you know we’ve been in a yoga class together? So I think I’ve seen you start your day with your legs up the wall! The studio that was above Wholefoods in West Hollywood??

Great tip! If you were an actor I’d say break a leg, but you’ll need those legs for clarity and inspiration, so instead I wish you the very best of luck!
